Electromagnets

DICTATOR electromagnets can be used for many purposes in completely different fields.

A very important sector is the preventive fire protection. In general, fire protection doors have to be closed. But often this is not possible as the closed door would hinder the easy passing or the operating procedure. The remedy is a tested and approved hold-open system. The electromagnet keeps the door during the normal operation procedure in the open position. In case of fire this blocking is automatically released by e.g. a smoke detector which interrupts the power supply. Without power the door closes immediately.

Another application in the field of fire protection are for example smoke and heat evacuation systems. Here the windows should normally be closed, but open automatically in case of fire. Easy to realize with DICTATOR electromagnets.

In the machine construction there can be found many tasks, too. Access doors or flaps of machining centres, for example, have to be securely closed before the machine starts working. The control system has to supervise the status of the openings. Here DICTATOR electromagnets with integrated feed-back contact are used.
