Radial Dampers

The radial dampers, named also rotation dampers, provide a constant speed control over long travel distances (e.g. for sliding doors). As all radial dampers are continuously adjustable, they can exactly be adapted to the respective application.

In addition to the already existing extensive range of radial dampers, a new series, the lamellar radial dampers, have been developed. They are patent-registered. This yet larger product range allows to find solutions to even more applications then so far. Besides the standard program, based on this new development, there can be elaborated and produced solutions adapted individually to special demands. The standard type of the LD radial damper is produced with a plastic casing. On demand, this can be made of other material (e.g. aluminium, stainless steel). The respective base area of the radial dampers of each series is the same, only the height differs. 

The actual DICTATOR radial damper program includes the following series:

• 240/241 series: radial dampers with aluminium casing, approved for their use on fire protection doors. This series also includes special executions for damping access sliding doors to real estates.
• RD 80 series: Radial dampers with plastic casing for medium loads
• LD series: new, patented construction. By default, the dampers of this series have a plastic casing which, on demand however, according to the application, can also be made of aluminium or stainless steel for example. With the LD radial dampers only the height varies, all other dimensions stay the same. The radial dampers of the LD series cover an extremely wide damping spectrum and they offer the most manifold possibilities for individual special solutions.
